The YCP has announced its fourth list of MLA candidates for the 2024 election and there is a surprising exclusion in this as Deputy CM K Narayanaswamy appears to be given the MP ticket instead of the MLA ticket.
Narayanaswamy won from Satyavedu in 2019 and Jagan appointed him as one of the five deputy CMs. Narayanaswamy was a firm loyalist of Jagan but he somehow isn’t given the MLA ticket this term. He is announced as Chittoor MP in-charge and could eventually end up getting the MP ticket instead of the MLA ticket.
Current home minister Taneti Vanitha is given the Gopalapuram(SC reserved) in-charge post. Singanamala(SC) MLA Jonnalagadda Padmavathy is rejected the ticket and she is replaced by M Veeranjaneyulu. Tirupur MLA in-charge post has gone to Swamy Das while Kovvur ticket is handed to Talari Venkat Rao.
