Sharmila Targets Jagan: YCP Trending #MorusupalliSharmila

Andhra Pradesh politics have taken a big plunge today with the introduction of YS Sharmila into the scene. She is the new APCC president and in her first line of duty, she has criticized the Jagan government for the lack of development in AP. She repeatedly referred to Jagan as “Jagan Reddy” like his fierce political opponents Chandra Babu and Pawan Kalyan usually do.

YCP cadre and social media supporters wing is displeased with this verbal attack from Sharmila and they have started to give it back to her through a social media campaign.

YCP’s social media wing has started to trend the hashtag “#MorusupalliSharmila” on Twitter. This is to project Sharmila as an outsider and more precisely, as the wife of Telangana-born Brother Anil Kumar who has the first name of Morusupalli.

YCP wing is irritated by Sharmila referring to Jagan as her enemy and reciprocating by projecting her as an outsider. They are sharing videos of Sharmila’s speeches in Telangana before the election where she says she has no connection to AP and is a daughter-in-law of Telangana. They point out that Morusupalli Sharmila is a Telangana lady and she has no say in AP.

This is just the start of the Jagan vs Sharmila battle in AP and it has started on a fiesty tone with both camps firing on each other.
