What Was Ponguleti Doing in TDP Office?

Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy is one of the few BRS leaders who left the party and joined Congress ahead of the polls. He didn’t just win from Khammam by a huge margin but also played a big role in Congress sweeping 10/10 assembly segments in the Khammam district. He was rightly awarded by Congress with the cabinet ministry berth then.

However, Ponguleti despite being a hardcore YS supporter, was seen at the Telangana TDP office in Khammam today, much to the surprise of everyone.

Ponguleti noted the efforts of TDP leaders in Congress to win the election in Telangana. “TDP cadre has to be appreciated for their contribution to Congress’s win in Telangana. Even if Congress leaders were occasionally distracted in the poll campaign, TDP supporters relentlessly worked for Congress. We shall have no differences between TDP and Congress from now on, we will all work together.” Ponguleti said to the TDP leaders at the office there.

Ponguleti speaking so highly of TDP leaders only enhances the unannounced TDP-Congress camaraderie in Telangana, observers say.
