New Survey In AP: Jagan Ane Nenu Or Babu Ane Nenu?

As the election season is ever so close, the time has come for survey agencies to roll our their survey reports. One such agency, ElecSense has released its survey report on the assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh.

According to their survey report, the ruling party YSR Congress will retain power in Andhra Pradesh on a comprehensive note again in 2024. The TDP-JSP alliance is still not strong enough to bring down Jagan, according to the report. Here is a look at the number furnished in the survey report.

YSRCP: 122 (49.4%)
TDP + JS : 53 (44.34%)
BJP : 0 (0.56%)
INC : 0 (1.21%)
OTH : 0 (4.75%)

Going by this report, YCP’s vote share is similar to 2019(49.89%) but the party will score 29 seats less than what it did last time. TDP and JSP contesting together will mean that their number has vastly improved from 2019 but still not enough to trouble Jagan.

However, another important point to be noted here is that the reported sample size of 88,700 is not substantial enough. While YCP might be pleased to see another survey going their way, TDP and JSP troops will write it off as a non-relevant one.
