Sharmila braver than Jagan, Naidu and Pawan!

Ever since assuming charge as the president of the Andhra Pradesh Congress party, YS Sharmila has been making headlines quite often with her aggressive politicking. Besides launching a scathing offensive against her brother and the current Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, and also taking potshots at Chandra Babu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan, Sharmila hasn’t spared even the BJP bosses at the centre for neglecting the interests of the state.

From the very first day, Sharmila has been very vocal on significant issues that fall under the purview of the Centre like Special Status, Polavaram Project and important aspects of the AP Reorganization Act. She accused Babu, Jagan and Pawan for failing to put pressure on the BJP government to fulfill these demands which play a pivotal role in the development of the state.

Now, taking another step forward, Sharmila has decided to launch a protest against the central government. She is also fighting against the privatization of Vizag Steel plant. Sharmila will sit at the AP Bhavan in Delhi for two hours from 2 PM to 4 PM today as a protest demanding the attention of the government towards these issues grappling the state. She is expected to meet some of the National leaders from other parties and request them to raise voices on behalf of AP against these aspects.

Sharmila has been adopting a no-holds-barred approach from the beginning and this protest is another such attempt that projects her as a brave politician than Jagan, Naidu and Pawan for confronting the BJP at the centre without any fear.

It is a known fact that Jagan and his 22 MPs have been maintaining a stoic silence over Special Status and Steel Plant issues from the last four years. Even Naidu didn’t demand the status when he was in power. Pawan Kalyan, an ally of the BJP, also didn’t raise his voice against Modi’s government all these years. But, Sharmila is brave enough to protest in Delhi for important issues of the state.
