Differences between rebel TDP MP Kesineni Nani and party supremo N. Chandrababu Naidu reached a flash point and the former quit the party to join the YCP on Jan. 10.
Kesineni Nani is known for his ‘confidence’ and keeps bragging that he is the architect of development in Vijayawada. The eternally cribbing MP, who always opposed Chandrababu Naidu, suddenly switched to a different tune and began accepting the supremacy of YCP honcho and Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
“Reading news reports in ‘yellow media’ I doubted Jagan but after joining the YCP and understanding the truth, I knew that Jagan is a leader with commitment,” he said.
He continued showering encomiums on Jagan and said that he works for the uplift of the poor and welfare of the society.
“Even during severe financial crisis when the employees lost hope about their salaries, none of the welfare schemes were put on hold,” the MP reminded.
Kesineni said that he went to several foreign countries but never witnessed such a great leader like Jagan. “All these word are coming right from the core of my heart,” Nani clarified.
He also said that negative campaign against the YCP government was being manoevured by Chandrababu Naidu, who is used to making hollow promises.
At the same time, Kesineni Nani also heaped praises on Devineni Avinash, given the animosity with his uncle Devineni Uma.
“The relentless efforts by Avinash made the retaining wall of Krishna river a reality,” he said, adding that the young politician would win the polls with 25,000-vote majority.
