BRS Becomes Complete Zero in AP?

KCR’s dream of going big in national politics came crashing down after BRS lost power in Telangana itself. After promising to have BRS’s footprint in AP, KCR is now confined to Telangana politics and preparing for a face-saving act in the coming Lok Sabha elections. So essentially speaking, BRS has crashed in AP even before it took off.

BRS AP president Thota Chandrasekhar himself is leaving the party very soon and has already come in contact with JSP leaders, according to reports. If BRS actually contested in AP, Thota planned to contest as Kakinada or Rajahmundry MP, but with the party shutting shutters, he is reportedly looking at JSP. His recent meeting with Chiranjeevi after the latter won Padma Vibhushan was shown as a formal one but the internal buzz is that Thota’s political move also came to discussion here.

The latest buzz is that Thota will be joining Jana Sena Party on February 4th, along with YCP’s defiant MP Vallabhaneni Balashouri. JSP is bracing for this double joining before the TDP-JSP candidates announcement. Thota is said to be eyeing the Guntur West constituency which TDP won in 2019 despite the strong YCP wave. But will he actually get the Guntur West ticket? Only time will tell.

Thota and Ravel Kishore Babu were two of the notable leaders who joined BRS AP wing, and with Ravela already joining YCP, and Thotal looking at JSP, BRS has become a complete zero in AP.
