Sharmila Says Modi Gadu, BJP Hits Back

YS Sharmila stationed herself in Delhi and carried out a protest demanding special category status of Andhra Pradesh. But she did something unexpected and uncalled for while speaking about the prime minister Narendra Modi. She referred to the prime minister as “Modi Gadu” while interacting with the media. BJP leadership is furious with Sharmila and has hit back at the AP Congress president.

Reacting to the incident, AP BJP spokesperson Vishnu Vardhan Reddy said Sharmila has crossed the limit by referring to Modi with “vaadu” “veedu” terms.

Reddy said “I understand that criticism is a part of politics. But Sharmila has crossed the line by referring to the honorable Prime Minister Modi with vaadu veedu terms. Is this the wisdom her father YS Rajasekhar Reddy garu and her husband Anil Kumar imparted to her? Is this the dignity that her family taught her?”.

Sharmila commenting “Modi Gadu” has infuriated the BJP and they are hitting back at the AP Congress chief.
