Following the defeat in the Assembly elections, the BRS is being very cautious for the upcoming general elections. Party president and former CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao is learnt to be getting surveys done to finalise the party candidates for all the 17 Lok Sabha constituencies in Telangana.

Before the just-concluded Assembly elections, three surveys were done to pick the candidates. Nobody knows the content of the survey reports except KCR. It is also not clear if KCR finalizes candidates basing on the survey reports alone or if he employs some other methods too. However, there is talk that the party suffered a defeat as surveys were done only on the financial status of the aspirants and hence, the party faced rout.

So, the BRS chief has decided to go for surveys on the track records also for the general elections. It is also learnt that the BRS chief had asked the intelligence wing too to get into the field and know about the history of the candidates.

KCR opines that candidates with good track record might be able to bring back glory to the BRS. It is also being said that KCR is ready to bear the expenses for fielding and campaigning for the LS candidates, if they have an exceptionally good track record.

One has to wait and watch for the gentlemen to be fielded by the BRS.
