Revanth Wants To project Himself As People’s Leader

The Congress, led by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy in Telangana, wants to project itself as a people’s government. Under the leadership of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, the Congress government is gaining a lot of mouth publicity. The positive publicity is increasing the image of Revanth Reddy as a People’s Leader.

Revanth Reddy is striving to create a niche for himself and also the Congress by trying to reach out to all sections of the people in the society, apart from the marginalised which the party had focused during the elections.

Revanth Reddy drew the attention of the public and struck the right chord with the people by removing the iron barricades which fortified the Pragathi Bhavan and renaming it as Jyotirao Phule Praja Bhavan. Then he announced that Praja Darbar will be held in the same building for public grievance redressal. Orders issued to retain Kumari Aunty’s canteen is one other attempt to win people’s heart.

This apart, he is setting leadership goals by remaining low profile and allowing all the other leaders of his party to go into the public, which is impressing the public. The entire exercise taken up by the Chief Minister to prove the corruption by the BRS in the construction of the multi-crore Kaleshwaram project is worth replication.

The Six Guarantess which catapulted the Congress to power are a big hit among the public. Of all the schemes listed out among the Guarantees, the free travel for women in RTC buses is being lauded by one and all.

Instantaneously, the public began drawing comparison between the rule by KCR-led BRS government and Revanth-led Congress government.

KCR never allowed general public into the Secretariat but Revanth is making it a point to allow the public freely move in the government offices and he is allowing the public to approach him. The mediapersons are the most happiest with this new type of approach.

While KCR used to vanish from the Secretariat for months together, Revanth appears in the Secretariat for review meetings without fail, on a daily baisis.

KCR used to seldom meet the ministers.

Revanth has listed out all the drawbacks of his predecessor and is specially focusing on improve in all these aspects, which is making him popular.
