Telangana’s ex-chief minister KCR is celebrating his 70th birthday today and he is receiving wishes from the Telugu community. Interestingly, KCR’s arch-rival, Telangana’s new CM Revanth Reddy, who was fuming on KCR even till yesterday surprised with his earnest wishes to KCR in the assembly today.
Revanth addressed the assembly today and extended hearty wishes to KCR. “I, on behalf of the Congress party, heartfully wish the former state minister, union minister, ex-CM of Telangana for 10 years, and senior politician, KCR a very happy birthday. I hope that god gives him good health to serve as the opposition leader of Telangana and fight for Telangana’s betterment.”
It wasn’t like Revanth was maintaining any satirical tone while wishing KCR as he kept the birthday wishes straight from the heart. He didn’t let his political rivalry supersede the occasion and surprised even BRS cadres with his earnest wishes to KCR.
It was heartening to see the good spirits reign supreme after both Revanth and KCR indulged in heated verbal assaults and used offensive language against each other recently.
