Spiritual guru Chinna Jeeyar Swamy’s meeting with Telangana CM Revanth Reddy caught everyone’s attention. According to reports, Chinna Jeeyar met the CM cordially at his residence in Jubilee Hills. He congratulated the CM with a flower bouquet. Interestingly, Chinna Jeeyar met CM Revanth Reddy two months after the latter assumed office as the CM. Hence, the discussion about this meeting is going on in political circles.
Meanwhile, it is said that Chinna Jeeyar met the CM to specially invite him to Samatha Kumbh-2024 Sri Ramanujacharya-108 Nations second Brahmotsavam organized at Samatha Spurthi Ashram in Muchinthal, Shamshabad. It is said that Chinna Jeeyar Swamy personally invited former CM KCR in the past for such spiritual programs. Even now he is following the same convention.
While Revanth Reddy was in the Opposition, he had levelled allegations against Chinna Jeeyar Swamy and KCR together. These remarks had hit the headlines.
It can be noted that Chinna Jeeywar Swamy was once close to the former CM KCR. He was closely associated with KCR. However, differences surfaced between the duo which resulted in their separation. It is said that Chinna Jeeryar’s closeness with the BJP and PM Narendra Modi had irked the KCR back then. Now Jeeyar’s meeting with CM Revanth Reddy set the tongues wagging. It needs to be seen whether this is starting of a new bonhomie politically in the Telangana. After all, there are no permanent friends or foes in politics.
