Cantonment BRS MLA Lasya Nanditha died in a road accident at Patancheru this morning.
Lasya Nanditha was traveling in a black SUV on ORR when the accident happened. The car went out of control and hit the road divider leaving Lasya Nanditha dead on the spot.
It is still unclear if the accident happened due to overspeeding or any other vehicle. Lasya Nanditha was sitting in the front seat next to the driver. The driver was severely injured and was shifted to a nearby hospital.
Lasya Nanditha is the daughter of late politician Sayanna. Lasya Nanditha most recently escaped from a road accident while returning from a Nalgonda meeting. She suffered minor injuries in that incident. A home guard died in that accident.
In February last year, Sayanna passed away due to health issues. He was a five-time MLA from Secunderabad Cantonment.
