TDP-JSP 1st List: BJP Shares First Reaction

The Telugu Desam Party and Janasena are jointly announcing their joint list of candidates for the 2024 election in a few minutes. On this matter, BJP AP head Daggubati Purandeshwari was asked to share her first reaction and here is what she said.

Purandeshwari acknowledged that TDP and Janasena are already in alliance and the BJP AP leadership understands the intention of the two parties in announcing their mutual list.

‘As far as BJP is concerned, it is the central leadership that will decide whom we will ally with. The AP leadership is aware that Telugu Desam and Janasena are in alliance and are announcing their first list together. BJP central leadership will decide if and when we will join the alliance. It is a topic that will come to the discussion at a later point in time’ Purandeshwari commented.

Media reports are saying that TDP and Janasena are releasing their non-conflict seats in the first announcement, TDP may announce 90 seats and 24 for Janasena. The adjustment seats and BJP-associated seats could be announced at a later date.
