As a part of the first list of TDP – Janasena candidates announcement, Janasena announced 5 of the total 24 tickets that the party was handed over as a part of the alliance seats distribution. The candidates are Tenali – Nadendla Manohar, Nellimarla – Lokam Madhavi, Anakapalli – Konatala Ramakrishna, Rajanagaram – Sri Battula Balarama Krishna Garu and Kakinada Rural – Pantam Nanaji.
While there was anticipation of Janasena Razole candidate due to the fact that the party won this seat in the 2019 election, Pawan Kalyan didn’t announce the candidate today.
After Rapaka Varaprasad won on Janasena ticket and moved to YSR Congress after the election, Bonthu Rajeswara Rao moved from YCP to JSP. Bonthu was announced as Janasena Razole in-charge and it was expected that he would feature in the first list of candidates, but that did not happen. There two other aspirants from Janasena, so Pawan needs more time to select the right candidate in the winning constituency.
On the other side, TDP also has a strong candidate in the form of Gollapalli Surya Rao in Razole. He too has been aspiring to field his candidacy in the Razole constituency.
It is natural to think Janasena would look to retain the Razole ticket, the only constituency that it won in 2019. But strangely, Pawan Kalyan didn’t announce the Razole candidate in the first list, leading to suspense on this matter.
