Talk: Strong ‘Congress’ Touch To Sharmila Son Reception

The YS Sharmila household threw a post-wedding reception party following the recent marriage of YS Raja Reddy and Priya Atluri. The event was held in Shamshabad last night and it was a starry affair. The most evident thing here was the presence of several Congress leaders.

The first guests to attend the reception were Congress stalwarts Mallikarjun Kharge, CM Revanth Reddy, and Telangana Congress observer KC Venugopal.

It was followed by Telangana Congress veterans Koamtireddy Rajagopal Reddy, Venkat Reddy, Sridhar Babu, Ponguleti Srinivasulu Reddy, Bhatti Vikramarka, and others. AP Congress representatives KVP Ramachandra Rao and Tulasi Reddy also made their presence felt. So did Karnataka Congress bigwig DK Shiva Kumar.

The internal talk is that the Congress leadership owned Sharmila to no end and came out in numbers to be with the AP Congress president on this celebratory occasion. But on the contrary, key stalwarts like Sharmila’s own brother Jagan Mohan Reddy, Chandrababu Naidu, and others who were invited to the event gave it a skip.
