Political Gossip: Jagan Contesting Two Seats?

The Pulivendula assembly constituency and Kadapa Lok Sabha segments ally heavily with the YS family as YSR, Jagan, and Vijayamma never saw a defeat in the Kadapa belt. Over the last two terms, Jagan won from Pulivendula with an earth-staggering majority.

But the latest political gossip that is in circulation on social platforms is that Jagan Mohan Reddy is willing to contest from two constituencies in the election.

The gossip is suggesting that Jagan will definitely contest from his fortress Pulivendula again, and also contest from either Vizag or Yemmiganur constituency. He might contest in any of the two alternative constituencies.

It is said that Jagan wants to have a safe padding in the second constituency with YS Sharmila and YS Sunitha working on a campaign against Jagan in Pulivendula. The YS Vivekananda Reddy sympathy factor and the impact of YSR descendant Sharmila are likely to have a say in Pulivendula polling trends. This is being touted to be the reason behind Jagan considering two constituencies for the coming election.

This is just hearsay for the time being as Jagan never contested in two constituencies in the past. But as the saying goes, nothing is impossible in politics so anything can happen.
