Experienced political strategist Prasanth Kishor played an undeniably prominent position in leading the charge for YS Jagan’s historic win in the 2019 election. Prasanth Kishor was in charge of I-PAC then, which took care of the political strategies and both online and offline campaigns of YSR Congress.
The very same Prashant Kishore, who was instrumental in Jagan’s win in 2019 has predicted that the YCP head will lose big in the coming election.
While interacting with the media in the Indian Express conclave, Prasanth said Jagan is Losing BIG. Jagan is thinking he is taking care of people. After all, you are spending people’s money. Resources management is different from potential management. Sitting in a palace and sending funds will not bring votes. Jagan is going downhill and he is definitely on a sticky wicket.
Prasanth has a relatively good understanding of the AP political ecosystem as he worked alongside Jagan for many years in AP so his clear-cut verdict that Jagan is losing big can’t be taken in a lighter vein by YSR Congress supporters. He further predicted that Jagan’s fate would be similar to that of KCR’s.
PK has gone from being beside Jagan while he recorded an emphatic victory in 2019, to predicting a huge defeat to the sitting CM in 2024. He faulted the money-dumping and freebies disbursal agenda of Jagan as well and gave this as a reasoning for his strong statement against Jagan.
