CM Jagan Reddy had been trying to enforce Vizag as the executive capital and in tune with this, the AP government built a lavish building at Rushkionda which is being touted to be the new camp office. But the legal complications associated with the shift of the capital have stopped Jagan in his tracks.
However, Jagan hasn’t let go of this Vizag dream yet and he has made a huge statement on this matter today.
Jagan said the motive is clear from his side as he wants to have Vizag as the capital of Andhra Pradesh. ‘We will develop Vizag as the capital and start administration from here. I will win as the CM again and I will take my oath here.” Jagan said. “Malli gelichi Vizag lo pramaana sweekaaram chestha”.
Jagan stressed on his stand that he is fully committed to developing Vizag as the capital of Andhra Pradesh. He used this as one of his cornerstone political intentions as he asserted that Vizag will be the center of administrative operations in his second tenure as the CM of AP.
