Survey: Congress Will Win 10 LS Seats in Telangana

The Congress would repeat the victory feat of Assembly elections during the upcoming Parliamentary elections too. According to a survey by the India TV- CNX Opinion Poll, the various welfare schemes being implemented by the Congress government in the state are evoking a positive response from the people. At the same time, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s people-friendly governance is impressing the public, from the village-level to bigger cities.

The survey revealed that of the total 17 Parliament seats, the Congress would certainly win 10 seats.

The victory from the 10 seats has been attributed to Revanth Reddy’s shrewd governance, straight forward approach to people’s grievances.

In fact, the free travel for women in RTC buses has proved to be a gamechanger making the women voters, as a total entity, switch to the Congress’ side.

Similarly, even other schemes have also evoked good response from the public.

The survey also revealed that the BJP would win 5 constituencies, namely Karimnagar, Mahabubabad, Nizamabad and Secunderabad. A strong Modi and Bandi Sanjay support wave is said to be the reason behind the victory.

The survey also forecast a dismal performance by the BRS which lost the Assembly elections. It was predicted that the  BRS would win only a couple of LS seats.

The AIMIM, which supported the BRS, is expected to win only one seat under the leadership of Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi. The MIM would win the Hyderabad MP seat.

During the last general elections, the BRS won 9 seats, BJP four, Congress 3 and MIM finished it with one seat.
