The P. Gannavaram constituency has been in the spotlight recently after Mahasena Rajesh announced that he would not be contesting despite securing a TDP ticket.
Citing negative communal propaganda by YSR Congress activists as the reason for his withdrawal, speculation arises as to who will replace Rajesh as the TDP candidate in P. Gannavaram (SC reserved).
Inside sources suggest that TDP is considering relocating Aithabathula Anandarao from Amalapuram to P. Gannavaram. Anandarao, a trusted TDP candidate in Amalapuram and a three-time contender on the party ticket, is being reportedly considered as Rajesh’s replacement. However, no official confirmation has been made by TDP, leaving the situation in suspense.
There is also speculation that BJP is eyeing the P. Gannavaram constituency, especially if an alliance is formed with TDP and Janasena. This potential alliance could alter the political landscape of the constituency. As discussions continue, the fate of P. Gannavaram remains uncertain, awaiting confirmation of Anandarao’s candidacy or a potential BJP alliance.
