Now that the alliance between TDP, Janasena, and BJP is nearly finalized, the focus has moved to the seat distribution aspect. Janasena was already given 24 MLA and 3 MP tickets in the alliance and with the addition of BJP into the alliance, the seat allocation is bound to be altered categorically.
On this matter, Raghu Rama Krishna Raju who is with Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan on this Delhi trip has briefed the media and gave a rough ballpark of the seat distribution.
Raghu Rama said the media reports that JSP+BJP will be given 30 MLA tickets and 8 MP seats in the alliance are more or less close to reality and this distribution factor could be followed ultimately. In that case, if we take out JSP’s quota, BJP could be getting 5 MP tickets and 6 MLA tickets. We have to see how this distribution finally materializes.
Raghu Rama Krishna Raju acknowledged that there is some public backlash against the BJP government in the center for not reprimanding Jagan for his several failures in the last 5 years. He said the public must note that the BJP-led central government and BJP as a party are two different entities.
As the central government, they are bound to support AP state government. But now that the elections have come and the public mandate is to be exercised, BJP has come out at the right time and stood against Jagan. I am hoping the alliance will throw away this tyrant CM in AP, he remarked.
