The final rounds of seat distribution is nearly completed by the three parties in the alliance, Telugu Desam, Janasena, and BJP. Telugu Desam has taken 144 MLA tickets while Janasena is left with 21 and BJP got the remaining 10 tickets.
Earlier, JSP was given 24 MLA seats and 3 MP seats. The final number went down marginally as the party is now left with 21 MLA seats and 2 MP seats after it lost 3 MLA seats and 1 MP seat to BJP, due to the newly formed alliance. Telugu Desam has allotted 1 of its MLA tickets to BJP.
BJP has gotten more than what was initially expected as the party has secured 6 MP tickets and 10 MLA tickets. The list with the number of seats for each party was officially released by the alliance.
Now that the numbers game is sorted in principle amongst the alliance parties, the constituency-wise candidate allocation could be finalized soon and the second list will be out correspondingly.
