After being in power for 10 years, BRS was restricted to opposition status after the recent assembly elections. But KCR and KTR appear not to have come to terms with the defeat in the election as they are exhibiting their frustration on the public for the defeat.
Recently, it was KTR who mocked Telangana public by saying “Revanth Reddy has again proved the proverb that goats will always trust the butcher and related it to Telangana voters picking Revanth Reddy as the CM.” He called this political development of Congress forming the government a “daridram”.
Yesterday, it was the run of KCR to sing a similar tune as he said “BRS did literally everything for the people of Telangana. But the voters were greedy and gluttonous so they picked Revanth and gave the power to Congress government.
Political analysts are commenting that the father-son duo of KCR and KTR are still frustrated on Telangana voters. The first and foremost thing that they should learn is to respect the public mandate and come to terms with Congress coming to power. Blaming the public for picking is not a wise strategy as public mandate reigns supreme above all else. It is for the public to pick whom they want in government positions, remarked an analyst.
