Father For Naidu, Son For Pawan Kalyan

Yesterday, Pawan Kalyan made the much anticipated big announcement on his candidature in the coming election as he confirmed that he will contest from Pithapuram. A day after Pawan Kalyan made this announcement, CM Jagan Mohan Reddy started making his moves to counter Pawan locally in Pithapuram.

Jagan reportedly assigned his trusted associate Peddireddy Midhun Reddy the responsibility of overseeing YCP’s electoral activities in Pithapuram. Midhun Reddy will soon start running the operations for YSRCP in association with the designated contestant, Vanga Geetha in Pithapuram. 

Notably, Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy was earlier designated with the job of overseeing YCP’s activities in Chandrababu Naidu’s Kuppam constituency. Ramachandra Reddy has been actively working on YCP’s campaign and inching towards the goal of defeating Naidu here. He has been on the mission of bringing TDP cadres into YCP in one way or another. 

With the senior Peddireddy already working on Naidu’s Kuppam, the younger Peddireddy has been sent to Pawan Kalyan’s Pithapuram by Jagan. The YCP boss clearly trusts the father-son duo so much that he pitted the father against Naidu and the son against Pawan Kalyan. Though they are not contesting in these constituencies, they are designated with the job of running YCP’s operations here. Will Jagan’s trust in them pay off?
