Kavitha Arrested: KTR Fires On BJP Government

Kalvakuntla Kavitha has been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in the Delhi liquor scam and she is being shifted to Delhi for further investigation on the case. This arrest came as a big blow to the BRS ecosystem and KTR is leading the protest over the matter.

KTR has fired on the BJP-led central government over the arrest of his sister Kavitha and called this move a misuse of power.

KTR tweeted ‘Abuse of power and institutional misuse to settle political scores is something that has become increasingly common with BJP Govt in last 10 years’.

The BRS working president stated the ED needs to answer the Supreme Court on the inordinate rush to arrest when the matter is very much sub-judice & up for review in a couple of days, on the 19th of March. What’s even more appalling is the ED undermining its own undertaking given to the Hon’ble Supreme Court

KTR added that BRS will take up the case politically and legally to ensure justice prevails.
