YCP MLA Candidate Goes Incognito

YCP Addanki candidate Panem Hanimireddy has gone into the incognito mode even as the elections are approaching fast. He is unavailable even for the YCP high command which has been desperately trying to contact him.

Reportedly, he switched off his phone and is not touring the constituency even after being declared as the candidate.

YV Subba Reddy, YCP senior leader and close confidant of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, recommended Hanimireddy’s name to Jagan. YCP’s attempts to get in touch with Hanimi Reddy proved vain.

The strange behavior of the party candidate is being faulted by the YCP high command even when the party does not have any hopes of winning the constituency, as the TDP candidate Gottipati Ravikumar has a very strong hold on it.

There is buzz that Hanimireddy might have decided not to waste his money in the constituency as he is very sure of Ravikumar’s victory.

It may be recalled that former YCP incharge of Addanki Chenchu Gattayya expressed dissent after he was replaced by Hanimi Reddy, as he was expecting his son Krishna Chaitanya would be given an elevation in the party.
