Even three months after the Telangana electoral mandate has been assertively given by the voters, BRS camp is still in denial. The party head KCR said people trusted Congress and they will realize their mistake soon. “Gaadidha emmati polythene gadha Gurram viluva telisedi.” He said in Telugu. This has led to a comment from neutrals that KCR is still in denial that Telangana voters wanted a change and picked Congress and sees this as a mistake on the public’s part.
However, KCR did appear to take a lesson or two from the mandate as he said there will be fundamental changes in BRS starting soon. KCR said training camps will be held to brush up the electioneering skills of the cadres and more committees will be formed to fine-tune the party organization from the grassroots level. He indirectly addressed the complaint that he wasn’t available to the party cadres and leadership for the most part of his tenure as the CM and assured he would be there for the leadership from now. This could be his takeaway from the defeat in the 2023 assembly elections.
About RS Praveen Kumar joining BRS, KCR said youth leadership is always encouraged in the party and added that he will be given the general secretary position soon.
He ended his message to the cadres by saying that BRS can 100% come back to power in the next election if they work with the right intensity and effectiveness..
