Telugu Desam Party, Janasena, and BJP are working with the collective aim of bringing down the YSR Congress government in Andhra Pradesh. They have now found a fresh supporter in the form of Lok Satta as its head Jaya Prakash Narayana pledged support to the NDA alliance in AP.
JP stated that he firmly believes this NDA alliance will cater to the interests of the people of Andhra Pradesh and called for curtains on the tyrannical regime of Jagan Mohan Reddy. He said the NDA alliance could resurrect Andhra Pradesh and advised the common public, scholars, and working class to vote for the alliance.
The Lok Satta president suspected that he expects a round of attacks from the ruling party with caste-centric remarks against him. He assertively said his support to NDA is only in the interests of people of Andhra Pradesh and goes beyond party lines.
The triangular alliance has found a new supporter in the form of Lok Satta which has a clean image and is regarded as a social-centric party. As the saying goes, ‘more, the merrier’ for a political outfit ahead of the election.
