Phone Tapping Case Getting Stronger & Danger

The phone tapping case is getting murkier by the day with police delving deep into the details to dig out the facts. The police FIR named former SIB chief and IPS officer T Prabhakar Rao as A1, DSP Praneeth Rao as A2, Taskforce OSD Radhakishan as A3, Bhujanga Rao as A4, Tirupatanna as A5, and two other private individuals as A6 and A7. The names of A1 and A3 were the last to be included in the FIR. At present, Prabhakar Rao and Radhakishan are absconding and the police issued lookout notices against them.

Once these notices are promulgated, the accused cannot stay beyond 6 months even in foreign countries. Neither can he extend the visa.

The illegal phone tapping crime was orchestrated by Prabhakar Rao, revealed Pranith Rao during his investigation. Pranith Rao, during the 7-day custody, also informed that the entire team acted as the orders of Prabhakar Rao. He also told the police that as the BRS was in the ruling, the main focus of phone tapping was TPCC president and Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.

The police also raided one of the private person Sravan Kumar’s house following allegations of him helping Pranith Rao. In his confessional statement, DSP Praneeth Rao also said that he had destroyed the phone tapping device. Now, the police are trying to retrieve information from the damaged device. The hard disk has also been seized.
