Fans Want To See RRR As Assembly Speaker?

Raghu Rama Raju

YCP’s ex-MP from Narsapuram, Raghu Rama Krishna Raju was more aggressive and proactive when it came to firing on CM Jagan’s policy making and irrational political views over the last 5 years. He was more determined and committed towards taking on Jagan than even any other opposition leader in the state.

After such an unwavering battle against the ruling party, it was expected that RRR would rightly be given the Narsapuram MP ticket by the alliance as a token of reward for his efforts. But a web was spun around him by certain BJP leaders and in the end, RRR ended up without the Narsapuram MP ticket which was given to someone else. The ex MP cited Jagan and Somu Veerraju’s lobbying as the reason behind the political deadlock.

But RRR’s relentless political rhetoric against Jagan is not to go unnoticed just because BJP gave the Narsapuram ticket to someone else. There is a strong demand from a section of the public and the huge support system that RRR has built over the last years, to give him a public representative position at any cost.

RRR’s fans are pushing the demand that TDP must nurture him and provide him with an MLA ticket. There’s a growing demand to give the Undi MLA ticket to Raghu Rama as it is a stronghold for TDP as the party has been undefeated here since 2009. This is nearly a sureshot seat if RRR contests.

There’s a parallel demand to give RRR the AP speaker position once the alliance forms the government. This is being seen as the right way to reward RRR for his unwavering commitment to uproot the Jagan government and being one of the fiercest detractors of Jagan from day 1.

RRR’s fans are clear about having him in the speaker position as this would give him another strong position to take on Jagan right in the assembly. He anyway announced that his political journey is with Chandrababu Naidu and it shall be seen how the TDP boss compensates RRR for losing Narsapuram ticket. Will we see RRR entering the assembly as Undi MLA and the be given the speaker position once the alliance forms the government? We will know soon.
