Two Seniors Are Happy With TDP’s Final List

The Telugu Desam Party has been preparing for the coming Andhra Pradesh election along with its allies Janasena and BJP. In the last and final leg of MLA/MP candidate selection, the party has released its final list of candidates(9 MLAs and 4 MPs) for the coming election.

In the final list unveiled by TDP, it is announced that Ganta Srinivasa Rao will be contesting from the Bheemili constituency. Despite the suggestion from Chandrababu Naidu to contest Cheepurupalli against Botsa Satyanarayana, Ganta was persistent about securing Bheemili ticket. In the end, he got his way and he is confirmed to contest from this constituency.

Another TDP veteran Kala Venkat Rao who was also concerned about his ticket, is relieved man now as he too has been allocated the ticket by the TDP high command. He will be contesting Cheepurupalli constituency instead of Ganta.

Coming to the MP elections, YCP defiant Magunta Srinivasula Reddy is given the Ongole MP ticket. Kalisetty Appalanaidu got the Vizianagaram MP ticket while Ambika Lakshminarayana got the Anantapur ticket. Bhoopesh Reddy is given the Kadapa TDP MP ticket.

With this, TDP has completed its candidates finalization process and both BRS and BJP are also close to announcing their final list.
