That’s the Difference Between Naidu And Other TDP Leaders

Telugu Desam Party supremo Chandrababu Naidu is one of the most experienced politicians not just in South India but in all of India. Even at the ripe age of 73, Naidu looks as sharp and inspired as any other buzzing politician as he prepares for what is being considered one of the most challenging electoral battles TDP has faced since its inception.

After securing 23 seats in 2019, Naidu faced the uphill challenge of leading TDP in the most complex conditions, even enduring a period of incarceration in a questionable skill scam case. However, Naidu emerged as energized as ever, currently spearheading TDP’s electoral charge with less than 50 days remaining until the polls.

Those close to Chandrababu are commenting that he has slept no more than 4 hours a day in the last couple of weeks, being fully occupied with party administration and pre-poll strategizing. On one side, he faces rebellion from leaders who didn’t receive tickets, on another, the challenging task of leading the alliance from the front, and overseeing the election campaigns of announced candidates.

Moreover, Naidu must tour all of Andhra Pradesh, holding public meetings in scorching heat conditions. Despite being revitalized by the huge crowd turnouts, gathering the energy to hold numerous meetings at his age in such challenging climatic conditions is a tough task, but Naidu is up for it. He must even look after his own Kuppam constituency.

The reason for raising this now is that while Naidu fights tooth and nail for TDP, it’s heard that some 50 announced candidates haven’t yet begun their campaigns. Apparently, they argue that there are still 6 more weeks before the polls, and they can’t fund their own campaigns for such an extended period, so they are waiting for the final leg of the electoral process to begin their campaigns.

The internal talk in the hardcore TDP supporter group is that it’s time for party candidates to set aside their laid-back attitude and follow the example of hardworking Naidu, who effectively uses every minute of the day.
