After ED, CBI Arrests Kavitha

By now, everyone knows that KCR’s daughter, K Kavitha has been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in the Delhi Liquor policy case. She has been serving remand sentence at the Tihar Jail in Delhi upon the order from the Delhi Rouse Avenue Court.

To make matters worse for Kavitha, she has been arrested again and this is the second time she has been arrested in a span of one month. She was earlier arrested by ED on March 15th and cut to now, she has been arrested by the CBI on April 11th.

First, the ED arrested her and questioned her about the hard facts pertaining to the liquor case. And now, it is the CBI’s turn to arrest her and further investigate her connection with the whole scam. The CBI communicated that Kavitha has been arrested and will be questioned by the authorities for further leads on the case. She will be kept at the Tihar Jail till further notice and will be investigated by the CBI henceforth.

Kavitha had already filed for bail during the course of the ED investigation but was turned down by the court. Her legal remedies will get that much more complicated now as not just ED, but also CBI has Kavitha on their radar.
