One of the principal comments against the incumbent YSR Congress government has been its tenacity to completely sideline the capital region of Amaravati. On top of that, the hate incidents against Amaravati farmers and the lack of administrative care on the local infrastructure are making headlines ever so often.
This time, miscreants have gone a step ahead and have destroyed a hallmark building in the capital region. This shocking incident came to light belatedly upon the interest shown by Guntur TDP MP candidate Pemmasani Chandrasekhar.
Digging deep into the story, Amaravati Museum was opened to visitors back in 2015 and it was decorated with carefully curated masterplans, layouts, road plans, sample constructions, and replicas of the potential Amaravati infrastructure. This museum has been open to the public ever since.
Cut to now, when Pemmasani Chandrasekhar decided to tour the museum to roller back the lost identity of Amaravati, he and the attending public were flabbergasted as they found that all the samples and blueprints in the museum were completely destroyed. This was a clear case of hate crime as each and every object in the museum was wilfully destroyed.
Every single object inside the museum was completely destroyed including the mirrors and furniture. The public reacted by saying that this is a hit job done by the haters of the Amaravati region and attributing it to unidentified YCP leaders.
