With the nomination process nearing completion, there’s a surge in the filing of MLA and MP candidates. While certain nominations and affidavits are catching the attention from the financial point of view, here is a nomination that is holding attention with the number of criminal cases involved.
After a fair bit of high drama, Chinthamaneni Prabhakar finally managed to secure the Denduluru MLA ticket and he has filed his nomination for the same.
In his nomination, Chinthamaneni mentioned that he has 93 cases against him. This is the most number of cases against any MLA candidate in Andhra Pradesh and this should be some sort of a unique record for the firebrand politician from the Eluru segment.
Apart from the 93 cases, Chinthamaneni Prabhakar even has a rowdy sheet opened against him.
Perhaps, the long list of cases why Chandrababu was skeptical about giving the Denduluru MLA ticket to Chinthamaneni in the first place. But considering his loyalty and strong local grip, he was allocated the ticket at the last minute.
