Telugu Actress Files Nomination As MP

The election season is truly here and we are slowly starting to hear interesting stories. While the focus for now is on the criminal cases and assets that are being mentioned in the affidavits by star candidates, there is another interesting development involving young Telugu actress Sahiti Dasari. 

The Telugu-born actress was earlier seen in Maa Oori Polimera 2 and received decent accreditation for that. While everyone thought she would grow from step to step in the film industry, she has taken the political plunge and has filed her nomination in the Telangana polls. 

Sahiti has filed her nomination from the Chevella parliament constituency as an independent candidate. She will be taking on BRS’s Kasani Gnaneshwar and Congress’s Ranjith Reddy, who are both financially deep-pocketed. While it is unlikely that she would pose any threat to them, her decision to enter politics at such a young age and that too while being active in films is coming as a surprise to many.
