Senior journalist Ravi Prakash’s RTV predicted that the Congress and BJP would have equal footing in Telangana, in the upcoming general elections, which means both the national parties will fight neck-to-neck to emerge victorious.
RTV, owned by senior journalist Ravi Prakash, associated with TV9 earlier, survey report estimated that the Congress and BJP would win 8 Lok Sabha seats each while the MIM would confine itself to a meagre one seat, in the Old City probably.
The survey report also forecast that the BRS draw a blank in the elections. This could be due to the defeat the party suffered in the recently-concluded Assembly elections when the Congress time and again raised the issue of heavy corruption by the BRS chief’s family members and alerted the voters of the debilitating effect the state would experience, if the same KCR was elected for a third tenure.
It may be recalled that Ravi Prakash was pushed out of the TV9 after the BRS comes to power. Reportedly, he went through an intense financial struggle after his exit from TV9. However, after nearly a decade of being ousted from TV9, Prakash made a comeback with his own news channel RTV.
