CBN, Pawan Ni Kooda Kottinchukomanandi – YS Bharathi

The opposition parties in Andhra Pradesh have been firmly opposing the tactics deployed by the YSR Congress and its president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy before the polls. In 2019, it was the Kodi Katthi incident, and in 2024, it is the stone pelting incident in Vijayawada. Pawan Kalyan and Chandrababu have been claiming this to be a staged attack by Jagan to get sympathy. 

For the first time, Jagan’s wife Bharathi has reacted on this matter, and here is what she had to say about Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan’s remarks on this matter. 

‘We will do one thing, we will ask Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan to stand in the midst of massive groups and face the physical attacks. We will see how they react to Kodi Katthi stabbing and how they will take the stone pelting to their head. Maybe they will get more sympathy then’ Bharathi remarked on this topic in a recent interview.

While the opposition leaders are asking why only Jagan is in the midst of such incidents be it as an opposition leader or be it as a CM, Jagan’s wife Bharathi asking Pawan and Naidu also to face such attacks is not comprehensible for many. 

Again getting back to the basics, only administration and governance will decide the public mandate. If such sympathetic incidents influence the voters, Naidu should’ve swept the polls after the Alipiri bomb blast but didn’t. Same could be the case with Jagan, based on what the AP public perceives.
