Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy said that Vizag is the growth engine for Andhra Pradesh. “If I can stay in Vizag as the CM, there will be a lot of improvement in the region after 10 years,” he said.
Vizag will remain on par with Hyderabad, Chennai and Bengaluru. He said that he would take oath as the CM in Vizag after the upcoming elections.
Infrastructure like roads, power and water facilities can be developed at a cost of Rs 1 lakh crore in Vizag which is not possible in Vijayawada, Amaravati or Guntur, he pointed out.
