The election heat got intensified and has almost reached the final stage in the Telugu states. Since the Assembly polls are already over in Telangana, the interest in Parliament elections is considerably low. However, the situation is different in Andhra Pradesh where the fight is between YSRCP and the Alliance (TDP-JSP-BJP).
The campaigning of all the political parties in Andhra Pradesh is coming to an end and the leaders used all the strategies to attract the voters in their state. The three political parties spent a lot of money on various campaigning activities, including running campaigns on Google.
The ruling party, YSRCP spent a bomb, close to 12 Cr rupees for the Google Ad campaigns whereas the other parties had spent very less compared to the previous amount.
The following is a compiled data on the Google Ad Spends by political parties in Andhra Pradesh in the last 70 Days (Since 1st March, 2024).
YSR Congress Party – ₹12,37,77,750 (₹12.38 CR)
(IPAC ₹2,27,20,750 + YSRCP ₹10,10,57,000)
BJP – ₹3,87,65,000 (₹3.88 CR)
TDP – ₹3,61,97,250 (₹3.62 CR)
On the whole, YSRCP spent a lot of money to ensure they are visible to all the voters. The polling in both the Telugu states will take place on the 13th of this month.
