After inspecting the booths in nearly 20+ villages, former Independent MLA from the constituency who lost twice on the TDP ticket, SVSN Varma, who has given up his seat to facilitate Janasena President Pawan Kalyan’s contest here, has shared his thoughts enthusiastically with the media.
“People are unhappy and angry with Vanga Geetha that she never met the common public in Pithapuram during her 5-year regime as MP of the YSR-Congress party. Despite her great acting-performance at Uppada Junction meet other day, people are laughing at it and not believing it. That’s why today they have no poll agents monitoring the booths here” says Varma, adding that Pawan Kalyan is going to with a thumping majority in this constituency.
Saying that the grass-root level strength of TDP transferred to Janasena, and vice versa, Varma gave a strong retort to Geetha’s allegation that Pawan Kalyan is not a local guy here. “Geetha questioned if Pawan Kalyan would come in 10 minutes to Pithapuram if anything happened to the public here. Not 10 minutes, we will bring him here in 2 minutes. By the time she comes here from Konaseema, Pawan will come here and finish his job too”, says Varma, exuding huge confidence.
In case if Pawan Kalyan wins big time here, it looks like the Telugudesam Party is likely to reward Varma with a big post for sure, for his dedication, hard work and not turning out to be a rebel.
