AP Polls Betting: Who Is The Favorite?

Parts of Andhra Pradesh, especially the Godavari districts and the Uttharandhra region are very conducive to betting culture. Likewise, whenever there is election season, the betting markets here go through the roof. According to the latest newspaper clippings, the same trend is being seen here in 2024.

Apparently, certain parts of Guntur and the majority of the Godavari districts are seeing a lot of betting action in the last few days as the polling has been wrapped up and the stage is set for the counting on June 4th.

According to the clippings, the TDP+ alliance is the clear favorite in these betting markets. Most of the bettors are reportedly interested in betting on the TDP+ alliance. A few of these stakeholders are even ready to offer 1:4 or even 1:5 ratios to those who are ready to bet on YSR Congress. Meaning, a Rs 20,000 bet on YCP can return RS 1 lakh in total.

Despite the tempting offers for those who bet in favor of the ruling party, YSR Congress, not many people are betting on this side, say reports.

In Guntur, the most popular market is that the TDP+ alliance would win 130+ assembly seats while the YSR Congress outfit would win in the 30-40 seats bracket.

These are the findings of the local media outlets and the authenticity of the same can’t be cross-checked at this point in time. This betting action might be a yardstick to assess the current polling trends in AP and which political outfit is in the clear ascendency.
