Former MLA of Kovvur, Pendyala Venkata Krishna Rao is one of the senior most statesmen from the region. He has been suffering from a chronic illness for the last few months.
Krishna Rao had been suffering from the medical condition and he was being treated at a hospital in Hyderabad. But sadly, he passed away today.
The family members have confirmed that the veteran politician is no more. Krishna Rao died in the early hours of May 21.
The veteran personality served as an MLA five times and he has been a firebrand leader for Telugu Desam there. He had to step down after the constituency was reserved for SC community individuals.
Though he hasn’t been active in local Telugu Desam ecosystem, the party has now lost a senior member due to the passing of Krishna Rao.
