Pinnelli Manchivadu: Jagan’s Old Video Going Viral!

Pinnelli Rama Krishna Reddy’s name was not so familiar. Beyond Macherla or Palnadu district, he was not so popular. But the EVM’s damage video went viral and YSRCP’s Macherla MLA candidate Pinnelli got a bad reputation nationally. YSRCP’s image is also dented. The Election Commission took serious note of the issue. Chief Electoral Officer for AP Mukesh Kumar Meena wrote an email to the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Rajiv Kumar who is personally monitoring the issue.

Amidst this backdrop, a recent video of CM YS Jagan’s poll campaign in Macherla and Palnadu is going viral. YS Jagan stated that Pinnelli is a “good person”. Jagan described Pinnelli as “Manchivadu” during his introduction of MLA candidate and MP candidate Anil Kumar Yadav. Now, social media is abuzz with Jagan’s words about Pinnelli.

Meanwhile, CEC Rajiv Kumar, who is serious about the issue, directed the CEO Mukesh Kumar Meena to arrest Pinnelli in this episode. Opposition leader and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu also demanded the arrest of Pinnelli. Naidu had alleged that 15 TDP polling agents were kidnapped by YSRCP cadres. While 12 of them managed to found their way back, CEO Mukesh Kumar Meena stated that 3 of them were traced and rescued.

However, YSRCP accused TDP of instigating violence. Both the parties are accusing one another. The violence marred AP polls in Chittoor, Palnadu and Guntur districts. More details are awaited.
