KTR slams proposal to remove Charminar from state emblem

BRS working president KT Rama Rao criticises Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s proposal to remove Charminar from the State emblem, stating it erases Telangana’s history. KTR emphasised Charminar’s significance as synonymous with Hyderabad and deserving of UNESCO World Heritage status. He questioned the rationale behind the proposed removal from the state emblem, condemning it as a disgrace to Hyderabad’s iconic symbol.
