How Many Seats YCP Getting? Naidu Reveals

Telugu Desam’s commander-in-chief Chandrababu Naidu arrived in Hyderabad last morning as he returned from a foreign trip. Ever since Naidu’s arrival in Hyderabad, he hasn’t wasted any time as he has been spending time with the TDP cadres and top leadership.

In his latest assessment of the AP polling trends, along with the TDP leadership, Chandrababu projected the number of seats that YCP will be winning in the election and he was fairly straightforward with it.

Chandrababu made it clear that the YSR Congress will be winning not more than 35 MLA seats in the election. Naidu attributed the anti-incumbency in the state and the effective election management of Telugu Desam will restrict YSR Congress to less than 35 seats.

Going by Naidu’s projection of AP electoral trends, the TDP+ alliance would be winning 140+ seats while YCP will slip to 35. This would mean a landslide win for the Kutami.

A picture of the ground-level scene would be emerging on the 1st of June when the exit polls will be out. The actual counting is not too far from now as the results will be out on 4 June.
