Varma Invites Jr NTR To Join TDP

Over the last week of so, Andhra Pradesh politics are getting interlinked with Jr NTR despite the Nandnamuri hero’s aversion to politics. In one such new development, SVSN Varma of Pithapuram who led Pawan Kalyan’s campaign here, was asked about NTR’s position in TDP.

Varma, who is a man who wears his heart on his sleeve and addresses any topic without sugar-coated words made an interesting comment on NTR.

“If Jr NTR is ready to quit films and actively work for TDP without any inhibitions, then I personally will get him a position in the party. Let him work for the party and prove his worth. There is no point in drawing similarities between NTR and Lokesh just for the sake of it” Varma commented.

Varma strengthened his point by saying “Lokesh has been the engine of Telugu Desam for the last decade. He has been leading our membership drive and strengthening our cadre from the grassroots level. So as far as TDP workers and leadership are concerned, Lokesh is always high up in the pecking order as he has been working tirelessly for the party. We will think about NTR only when he quits films and starts for fighting for TDP’s cause.”

Though Varma’s comments might pinch a section of NTR’s fans, he has stuck to hard facts by presenting his case on who is actually working hard for the party. One must also note that Lokesh himself recently said he is ready to welcome NTR into TDP and for that matter, he would work with any hardworking person who is ready to fight for the party.
