It’s Official: Mudragada Padmanabham Becoming Padmanabha Reddy

Kapu community stalwart Mudragada Padmanabham who got back with YSR Congress right before the 2024 election went extensively hard against Pawan Kalyan. This was to the extent that he even challenged to change his name if he doesn’t defeat Pawan in the election.

Cut to today, Janasena won 21/21 MLA seats and 2/2 MP seats while YCP secured 11/175 and 4/25 seats. In view of this humiliating defeat, Mudragada Padmanabham held a press conference and he made a big announcement.

Mudragada accepted his defeat and announced his plan to change his name. “It is true that I lost the challenge of defeating Pawan Kalyan garu. I am standing by my word and am preparing to change my name to Padmanabha Reddy. I am applying for a gazette publication regarding my name change.”

“As I challenged I will change my name to Mudragada Padmanabha Reddy , I will get everything legally ready regarding that and will inform the media” the Kapu veteran read.

A few Kapu well-wishers are pitying Mudragada’s situation and saying he is having to face the consequences for his overtly aggressive attitude to help YCP and in the process, distancing from his own community which was clearly rallying with Pawan Kalyan.
