JSP’s Ramesh with 81,870 votes from Pendurthi
Narayana with 72,489 votes from Nellore (Urban),
Radhakrishna with 72,121 votes from Tanuku,
JSP’s Nanaji with 72,040 votes from Kakinada (R),
Adireddy Srinivas with 71,404 votes from Rajahmundry (U),
TDP’s candidate Ramakrishna Babu velagapudi from Visakhapatnam East got 70,877
JSP chief Pawan Kalyan with 70,279 votes from Pithapuram constituency.
The huge margins indicated the people’s desperate wish to get rid of the misgovernance and poor performance of the YCP MLAs. In fact, the electorate went into a mission mode and ensured that former CM Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy was removed from his post by exercising their franchise wisely.
